We had the incredible opportunity of hosting the Programme Steering Committee (PSC), the top governance body of the Sustainable Inclusive Youth Employment Pathways (SIYEP) Programme.
The engagement began with field visits to young women groups in Yumbe and Obongi district in West Nile and later an all day meeting in Arua City. The field visit offered PSC members a first-hand look at the progress of SIYEP-supported enterprises and interaction with young women engaged in the poultry, horticulture and field crops. The distinguished members listened to their experiences, identified best practices, implementation challenges, and proposed practical solutions to some of these challenges to strengthen the programme’s impact and sustainability.

The PSC brings together representatives from the Mastercard Foundation, the SIYEP Programme Implementation Unit, The Lead Partner AFARD and the CEOs and Executive Directors of the consortium partners.
We deeply appreciate the dedicated support of the PSC team and insightful guidance provided during this engagement and commit to significantly strengthening our efforts to deliver greater impact for the young women.
